CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Hilltop Elementary offers a wide range of clubs and activities that cater to students' unique interests. With convenient on-site after-care and late bus service, we ensure students have the chance to explore, learn, and grow beyond the classroom in a nurturing and engaging environment. 

Art Club

Art Club is an exciting opportunity for students to explore their creativity. Here, they can experiment with various art materials, learn about different famous artists, and take on large projects and murals that contribute to the beauty of our school.
Grades: 4 and 5

Destination Imagination

Destination Imagination is part of a global organization that hosts project-based STEAM tournaments. Teams are formed based on grade and competition level. Each team works on a unique Team Challenge, which they present at tournaments. These challenges cover various fields like Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational, Engineering, Service Learning, and Early Learning.
Grades: K - 12

Diversity Club

The Diversity Club is a student-led initiative focused on promoting understanding and acceptance of all individuals, regardless of race, gender, cultural background, or other perceived differences. The club actively engages in identifying cultural challenges, decision-making, designing solutions, and implementing plans.
Grades: 3, 4, 5

Greenhouse Club

In the Greenhouse Club, students learn about the life cycle of plants through hands-on activities. They participate in planting, tending, and growing various plants, and contribute to the development of a pollinator garden.
Grades: 3, 4, 5

Intramurals

The Intramurals program offers after-school sports, allowing students to engage in various sporting activities. It’s a great way for students to socialize and play with their classmates.
Grades: 3, 4, 5

MAC Scholars

The Hilltop Scholars Program provides after-school tutoring, enrichment, and homework assistance. The program also features guest speakers throughout the school year.
Grades: 4 and 5

Math Lab

Math Lab offers homework assistance and reinforcement of grade-level standards in mathematics.
Grades: 3, 4, 5

Outward Boundless

Outward Boundless offers students the chance to explore the great outdoors on the Hilltop grounds. The program includes various guided activities that allow students to learn about and interact with nature.
Grade: 3

Science Club 

This invite-only club is for fifth-grade students needing additional support in Science. It focuses on reviewing content standards and providing curricular reinforcement.
Grade: 5

Student Council

Student Council members engage in building leadership skills, fostering school spirit, and organizing philanthropy projects.
Grades: 3, 4, 5

Yearbook Club

The Yearbook Club allows students to hone their photography and computer skills while creating a lasting memory book for the school.
Grades: 3, 4, 5
